It gave me strength

To breathe

When I could

Hear nothing

Being said.

Words of love 

Words of hope

Tug of war

Pulling my

Heart strings

With rope

Empty.meanings

Filled with dreams

Looking to fulfill

What never seems

Reaching out

To nothing

There

A light at the

End 

Is what I hoped

We would share

Looking searching

Through thick

Fog

With many wheels

Turning

I was only another

Cog

Thoughts coming

Jumping out from

The black

Promises made

Of which they lack

Deep in my soul

I feel nothing but

Space

When I only see a Mirage

With its ugly face
