Christmas Star

Christmas star

I sit here quietly watching the rain fall down

Sun casting it's beautiful sparkles to form a Christmas star

Patches of brightness patches of dryness

I look out of the window trying to cry less

Within my minds eye

I begin to write your name across the wet window pane

The droplets slide down the glass if only this sadness

I could cast

I want to scatter little shiny sparkling pieces of sadness amongst the Christmas star

Watch it fall down lay all around me covering the ground

The sun once again begins to appear everything turning out bright

This I then believe I know everything shall turn out alright
