I Had A Thought

I had a thought- it made me think-

I was standing in a shop what had I forgot 

Idiot , stupid, my mind made up it began to plot

You know dam well 

You laid it on the table right next to the car key's

Why can't my mind remind 

Me please 

you only needed to pick it up after I had finished with my tea cup

Scratching my head wondering what I would had said had it been you and not me standing right here

I had been better staying at home in my warm cozy bed

I have bought all this stuff 

for all the places to be this just isn't good enough 

Looking around every one else I could see the laugh was all on me well at least the bus was free

Next in line 

I looked at my watch it wasn't yet nine stop beating yourself up it shall work out fine

I could hear my ears getting nipped with words

Hard they may be very unkind 

I didn't  do it on purpose

I shall say

your ruining my day 

Next to pay soon be on my way

  I knew

 I ought to had brought one  '
