Not everyone gets to say Goodbye 

When this happens we try to live every day

Asking ourselves why.


It may be the way it was always meant to be

Nothing we do can ever change the fact

Your loved one's spirit 

Is now free.


How can we carry on when the one who made us strong

Is no longer near you

Where they belong.


Heaven decides the time for your loved one to go

Knowing you shall 

Continue to grow.


Living with an empty space

Where nothing can fill

Their place.
