A Shadow In The Distance

A door has a handle

  to open or close

   whats on the other side

    no one knows

     Is it my time to walk

      through it and see

       what is behind

        waiting for me

         A shadow in the

          distance

           catches my eye

            then a bright light

             I was blinded by

               I began to wonder

                 I began to cry

                  No one loved you

                    more than I

                      Angel voices sang

                        out very loud

                         rain poured down        

                          From a dark cloud   

                           The moon was at

                         the edge of

                       night sky

                    my heart is broken

                 a sadness that may

              never die
