Mithers Dae

Hae a guid mithers dae

Lookin ( looking ) through the closet ( cupboard) today ,
I came across a box which had gone astray.
I opened it carefully and peeped inside, whit ( what ) I saw made me ( my ) een ( eyes open wide. Me ( my ) birthday card.
I picked it up half it close tae ( to ) me ( my ) hert ( heart ).
The words  written I began tae ( to ) read fae ( from ) the stert ( start

Wi ( with ) special love fir ( for ) everything ye ( you ) do hoping mither ( mother )  ye ( you ) will.hae ( have ) a perfect dae ( day ) aw ( all ) through.
It's  a wee ( little )  bit  late , bit ,( but ) better late than ne'er ( never ).

These words will stay wi ( with ) stay wi ( with ) ye ( you ) forever.
Hope ye ( you ) hae ( have ) a nice mithers ( mother's) dae ( day ) as weel. ( well ).

This card I did find means sae ( so ) much mare ( more ) it wisnae ( was not ) the patio that brought it to me ( my ) door.

It wis ( was ) kept safe inside a box tucked awa under key and lock.
Waiting fir ( for ) this special dae ( day ) tae ( to ) come tae ( to ) say laddie ( son ).
I am oh ( oh ) sae ( so ) proud tae ( to ) be yer ( your ) mum.
