Heavenly Birthday Party 


What a lot of fun

It is up here today

Watching you too

I could hear what

You had to say.


Angels gave me

a Birthday gift

As the clouds drew

Apart 

I sent a message 

Just for you

To find and lift.


Beautiful birds

flew down

To land right beside you.

I stood looking through the opening 

In Heaven's sky.

I knew when you

Saw my sign sent to you

For a tear dropped from your eye.


If only you had seen where I have been

Your eyes would be dry and clean.


What a beautiful day

My Heavenly Birthday cake

Candle flame lights

Which lit up the night

I sent you a slice for you to see

When you look up

I knew you would 

know it is me.


You placed my gift 

I knew which one it was

It had a ribbon

wrapped around

It just for me.

I love my Heavenly

Birthday party up here

I look forward to having another next year


Like you I too

Shall not forget

Our memories of 

Our days still to come

I love you too

Our love is forever true
