I cover ma (my) face, is this whit(what) they caw(call) the human race.

He took  his  life nae (no) one kens(knows) why.

This  is why I cry.

Tears tell nae(no) lie oh(of)the pain I feel deep inside.

Nighfall comes, instead oh(of) sleep me(my) eein(eyes) are open wide.

I see his  face

I feel his touch.

 I ken(know) he is by me(my) side

I say words nae(no) mither(mother) kin(can) hide.

Deep in ma(my) Hert(heart) is naething(nothing) but sorrow.

I treasure today as ye(you) never ken(can) tell whit(what) will come yer(your) way tomorrow.
