I paint a picture in my head

I stare at the ceiling lying here in bed

I do not like what I can see

I close my eyes and only see me The picture I painted is no longer there

I wish it back to how it once were to have my child to cuddle and to hold this won't happen

I am often told

My Artist's palette has run dry

I shall lay here

until I no longer cry
