Old Crooked Bridge

There is an

Old crocked bridge 

crosses over a lake

where many heart's ache.


A bridge to far

Mending obstacles

Surrendered to life

Leave's a  scar. 


Memories unspoken 

Friends 

Long forgotten

This old crooked bridge

Old as they_

Their hearts are

now Rotten.


Tredding lightly over

This Old crooked bridge 

I fear it might 

Break

Taking everything

It can take.


Love forgiveness, even hate

Old crooked bridge, lead me

Away from golden gate.



Come together

One by one to cross

Reach where it ends

Life is to short_ let us

Chose to make amends

With our long forgotten

Friends
